This week we have created profiles of ourselves to share with our epals over in England. We have linked to two schools in England called St Augustine's Catholic School and Hammond Primary School. The links to these schools are down the left hand side of this blog. We are really looking forward to learning about life on the other side of the world!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO OUR SCHOOL!

Our School turned 10 last week. We celebrated by baking a 'muffin-cake' and singing Happy Birthday in te reo Maori!

WELCOME TO TERM 4!

Well done for checking the blog to see if I had left any messages!

Remember Term 4 is about Sun Safety so make sure you have your school hat on Monday. Some of you still have yours in your hat pouch so don't panic if you can't find it at home.

It is also very important you bring all your learning tools on Monday morning - no forgetting!

You will need: Black, Red, Green pens, pencil, eraser, sharpener, ruler, glue stick, highlighter and coloured pencils.

Lastly....remember to bring an empty can to create a tools holder on Monday!

CROSS COUNTRY SUCCESS!

What a fantastic effort shown by all Room 18 learners in the cross country today!Great determination was shown by everyone and we achieved some top placings in our room. Of special mention we have Russell and Devon who got 1st and 2nd in the year 4 race. Well done everyone!
